Tim Wendel's award-winning book chronicles the extraordinary season of 1968, played out against the backdrop of one of the most divisive and turbulent years in American history.

A trailer for the documentary, which is currently in production, will follow Wendel's presentation.


Co-sponsored by the Lefty O'Doul Chapter of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). A book sale by the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library follows the event.
