No rest for the wicked. The first week of promoting High Heat opened with a reading at the Barnes & Noble in Alexandria. The manager there is my friend Brighid Moret and it was a fun evening.

I've finished with the working draft for High Heat: The Search for the Fastest Pitcher of All Time. The publisher is Da Capo Press. Nolan Ryan, Bob Feller, Steve Dalkowski, Satchel Paige, Walter Johnson and Sandy Koufax are in the elite group, with such contemporary stars as Joel Zumaya, Billy Wagner (before his Tommy John surgery) and Tim Lincecum also in contention.
